Valentine was only 19 when she died in this horrific tragic car
accident on her way to Whistler.
She had turned into a beautiful young woman, with a beautiful
smile, mind and soul. Valentine’s life has been way too short and we all miss
her so terribly already, but despite her brief existence, Valentine touched so
many lives in a unique way. She had that passion for life, that hunger
to discover new people, places, cultures.
We will all remember her positive energy and great emotional
intelligence that just made everyone around her so comfortable. Valentine
embraced life and all its possibilities, nothing was impossible, she was truly
an inspiration to everyone she touched. She had made Vancouver her home
and had fallen in love with the stimulating environment she was in at
UBC.
For 19 years, Valentine made this
world a better place. We can all be inspired by the great qualities that made
Valentine who she was, and smile right back. From where she is now, she will
appreciate how much of a positive impact she’s had on all of us.
